LOUIS VUITTON BRINGING IN A TWIST OF JAPANESE DETAILING IN THEIR ATTIRE

Louis Vuitton’ resort line was splendid as Nicolas Ghesquière collaborated with the Japanese designer Kansai Yamamoto to incorporate traditional Japanese detailing incorporated in his creations. This beautiful assemblage was all about Yamamoto being behind the samurai faces and Nicolas’s awesome sequin dresses and kabuki-eyed leather bags. Both of the designers used ancient Japanese colorful prints, textures and layers that blended in in a very interesting manner. One of our favorites were those oversized hourglass blazers with huge sleeves full of volume. Including. Including, Nicolas teamed lace slips with white tees and colored jeans.
