Yes, you heard it right, the runway never gets tired of the fringe! May it be Marchesa’s beautiful evening gowns pr Michael Kors’ daring and interesting outfits, fringes are fun. We can never get over them as we see them all around, from leathers to layers and edges on outfits and accessories. One collection that really caught out attention was Jenny Packham’s line. Otherwise, one more staple trend that was seen even as a fringe was velvet last year. This fall too, the very elegant and soft velvet looks fabulous as plunging neck dresses, as well as outerwear and sleepwear at Jenni Kayne’s show. Other designers who worked around velvet were Jill Stuart, Zero + Maria Cornejo.
