LET'S BE HAPPY TO BE BACK IN PINSTRIPES

Every print carries out its own look, irrelevant of the outfit it is seen as. When it comes to stripes pinstripes rank at the top of the list. Many of us do not know that originally pinstripes were made for men’s suits in these ultra-thin stripes, and later were spotted as creative interpretations for women. Aquilano’s show had classic pinstripes in oversized shirts, blazers and asymmetric skirts, and at Baja East there were slouchy grey pieces with a tropical touch. Otherwise, at Chalayan, white-and-blue pinstripes were seen on shirting cottons. There were more interesting pinstripe collections at Chloe, Creatures of the Wind, Ashley Williams and Band of Outsiders.
