INTERESTING POP ART PRINTS

Pop Art is admired by all but worn by a few, and those few are the risk-takers who love experimenting with unique looks. Pop culture prints are all over the spring-summer 2017 runway shows, creating splendour from one model to the next. Dolce & Gabbana displayed real-life objects on the outfits consisting of drums, flags, spaghetti, ice-cream, jugs, bowls, fish, and Italian girls. Other designers such as Elie Saab chose to play it safe with stars, while Emporio Armani focused on animals like dragons, zebras and tigers. One of our favourites was Mary Katrantzou whose collection evolved around Minoan women images with optical illusion prints.
