STRIKING THE 80'S LOOK

The best thing about fashion is that each and every trend comes back in modified and new styles. Again we get a glimpse of the Eighties with these current makeup trends: very bold eye shadows applied from the crease, dragging all the way to the eyebrows and into the temples and tops of the cheeks. At times it is very difficult to know if there has been a blush applied or it is the eye shadow applied all the way to the cheekbones. Max Mara was one of these who kept us thinking about the same with quite a range of bright colors such as yellows, reds, greens and blues. While there were designers like Tom Pecheux who opted to exclude the eyes and rather colored the models’ cheekbones with eye shadow. Interestingly, Kenxo’s models had a pretty pinkish red hue applied in a semi-circle manner from the outer corner of the lids, into the temples and right on top of the cheekbones. Other fashion houses that rocked this 80’s look were Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Adam Selman.
