RED VERSUS BURGUNDY

Red has proven to be the most sensual color with graduations to tone it down and look more subtle. Wherever versatile yet strong color appears it creates glamour, seduction, fun and elegance. We totally drooled over Emporio Armani’s models with that dark and deep shade of red. Otherwise, Julie Kandalec opted for the cool red shade at the Rag & Bone runway. And the nail technicians at Charlotte Olympia focused on bright red nails with a half-moon at the bottom, resembling a red reverse French look. On the other hand, a darker shade of red such as burgundy which seems to look dangerous, mysterious yet fun now seen on the spring runway. Monique Lhuiller and Kate Spade opted this burgundy color with glossy finishing looking simply stunning.
