FLORAL INSPIRATIONS

There are certain things we know we should expect from spring and summer, flowers being one of them. Flowers have been used from centuries as a hair accessory or detailing to beautify an outfit or even a pair of shoes or belt. At Rosie Assoulin’s show, we got to have a literal view of this with sprinkled dried flower petals through the models’ loosely tied hair, giving it a wild yet natural look. Also, as usual Dolce & Gabbana thought of humongous beautiful red flowers placed on the side of the models’ heads as well as pink flowers at the top of their heads. And Miu Miu didn’t shy away from making their flowers look totally fake as they were made from plastic in shades of white and yellow-gold, giving a very avant-garde appeal to the show.
