HOW FUNKY CAN YOUR HEELS AND SLIPPERS GET?

How far can you take a funky look when it comes to shoes? Mostly we get to see non-geometric designs at fashion weeks, and this spring too we have witnessed quite a few of them. For instance, we noticed how Loewe playfully worked with heels and the swirls on them. Otherwise, Alexander McQueen’s line hinted more towards the Western side with shiny chrome add-ons including rivets. Also, there were some crooked square-inspired heels at J.W. Anderson. Whereas, Saint Laurent’s footwear collection consisted of the brand’s logo on the heels, which looked simply adorable. A few other designers who grooved these funky styles in footwear were Dries Van Noten, Kenzo, and Thom Browne. On the other hand, comfort also walked on the ramp with creations by Prada, Lanvin, Dolce & Gabbana, Miu Miu, making their flip-flops look funky and embellished with sequins and floral designs. One of our favourites were those lovely pearly slippers by Tory Burch, looking elegant and feminine.
