THIS SPRING'S PLATFORM TRENDS

We can never get enough of platforms, as they give us added height and are comfortable to wear. Platforms still seem to be one of spring’s top trends, showing continuity into this summer. Salvatore Ferragamo’s stunning monochromatic boots swept the audience off their feet. Also, Erdem’s show has these amazing snakeskin platform shoes with ankle lacing that can complement any of the pretty outfits in solid colors seen on the runway. Some more designers who displayed marvellous footwear lines were Proenza Schouler, Rochas, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors,Maison Margiela, Charlotte Olympia and Miu Miu. One of my favorites was Dolce & Gabbana with their beautiful nature printed platforms with polka doted straps.
