CHAIN IT ON YOUR SHOULDER

Chain straps on handbags and clutches have been there since centuries, either as whole chains assembled into the piece or partially made of leather or some other material at the top for a better grip. This season designers like Valentino, Bottega Veneta, John Galliano, Mulberry and Versace displayed exclusive collections with chain straps. In Valentino’s line, the chain straps were in brass and gunmetal hues, creating quite a contrast to the other classy leather and suede bags. While at Bottega Veneta, the chain handles were more elegant, totally complimenting the warm-tones of their leather bags. And on the John Galliano runway, as expected, chains were in excessive and slung across the shoulder hanging from the front, somewhat inclining towards a punk look.
