ETHEREAL WHITE IS NOT JUST A COLOR

White is a universal color that evokes purity, innocence and light. Some of us may stay away from it as it can get dirty easily, while others ignore this fact and enjoy the true beauty of it. The Spring 2017 runway is seen packed with white gowns flowing as brides gown or even stunning elegant gowns. Mostly, these white gowns have been constructed with lightweight tulle or delicate lace, creating a feminine and sweet appeal to it. But designers such as Alberta Ferretti took more to the bohemian look by creating gypsy-style skirts with crop tops. Whereas at Carolina Herrera’s show, white day dresses as well as some elegant wedding gowns were totally loved by all. Christian Dior showcased these ethereal white delicate outfits, among which a tulle dress with strapless bodice was very much appreciated. Chloe, Cushnie et Ochs, Delpozo, Demmis Basso and Oscar de la Renta were some more designers who proved how fabulous white outfits look in Spring 2017.
