NIAGARA-DENIM BLUE

The first spring 2017 color most commonly used on the runway is the soft and relaxing blue shade called Niagara, somewhat resemble a denim blue shade. What is the best of this shade is that it is highly versatile, thus it can be matched with any other shade and look stunning. Color forecasters somehow believe that this shade of blue resembles the Niagara Falls with the sublime scenery and relaxing effect. Designers who were notices using this beautiful color in their collections were, Altuzarra, Carolina Herrera, Emporio Armani, Alexander McQueen, Marchesa, and Zac Posen. Altuzarra’s range in this color looked extremely interesting in python printed outfits inspired by the David Lynch movie, Wild at Heart. While Carolina Herrera’s classy denim-inspired evening dresses looked light-weight and at the same time elegant as evening wear. Armani chose to present this calm shade in wraps of silk while Ferretti made it more glamorous by adding peplum floor-sweeping dresses. The Niagara blue was seen in ruffles and featherweight tulle intricately designed by fashion houses such as Alexander McQueen, Marchesa and Zac Posen. This shade looks extremely charming on slim bodies, but if you are on the heavier side I would suggest only to wear hints of it rather than an entire outfit.
