A new year invites innovative and fresh trends with colors from a different perspective. The first thing that catches our attention are the colors on the Spring/Summer 2017 runway. As soon as New York Fashion Week wrapped-up, the Pantone Color Institute was ready to declare the top 10 spring 2017 colors which will lead the topmost fashion trends this year. According to their Fashion Color Report, most if not all the colors are inspired by nature with a mixture of a vivid feel with the intense green along with a calm and muted color palette such as a primrose yellow. Every year, blue is a must, may it be a pale blue or an electric blue, and in 2017 we will get to see a lot of lapis blue as well as denim blue and an aqua paradise blue. Neutral colors are also taken into consideration such as Pale Dogwood and Hazelnut, balancing out with the vivacious strong colors. Therefore, the Pantone Top 10 Colors for Spring/Summer 2017 are the following: Niagara (PANTONE 17-4123), Primrose Yellow (PANTONE 13-0755), Lapis Blue (PANTONE 19-4045), Flame (PANTONE 17-1462), Island Paradise (PANTONE 14-4621), Pale Dogwood (PANTONE 13-1404), Greenery (PANTONE 15-0343), Pink Yarrow (PANTONE 17-2034), Kale (PANTONE 18-0107), and Hazelnut (PANTONE 14-1315). So stay tuned to know each of these colors and how to wear them according to your shape and size.
