TWIST IT THE FRENCH WAY

Another way to manipulate French pleats is to create braids and plaits, and this winter we get to see many interesting French twists across the center of the head as well as on the crown. These styles create a more royal look and some are in fact considered masterpieces such as at the show by Gareth Pugh. We also got to witness modernized braided hairstyles such as the Mohawk style French pleat at Kenzo’s show as well as Giorgio Armani’s models with those extremely curly locks looking fabulous. The later can be referred back to the 1950’s Rock ‘n’ Roll hairstyle inclining between both romantic and rebellious looks. You can style it in various graduations by keeping it neat and holding it in place or allowing a messy look with curls falling freely all over your face. These looks can work both for office wear and evening wear. In fact the messy look can even work for your daily routine where you want to have your hair tied-up but keeping it loose and free.
