Layers are a common and natural trend during the winter season to keep the cold away. Nonetheless, there is a technique to blend various layers that may or may not match and yet look gorgeous on you. As transparent looks have been in this year, one always wishes to wear them with something underneath, such as skirts and dresses rather than just tops and pants. DKNY’s show had some absurd layering such as a translucent lace dress over bandeau top and masculine pants. Or a lace turtleneck underneath a velvet brocade on the chest area. In other words, it seemed as if three different looks were clammed together, worn one on top of the other. But many times combining different trends can also work as in the case of Moschino with the open-shoulder ‘80s glamour look over a sheer tank top.
