Dolce & Gabbana's Charming Fairy Tale

The famous Italian duo, Dolce & Gabbana have impressed us for more than 31 years now, and as expected, this season again this fashion house has left us wanting for more. On 28th February 2016 itself they created a huge buzz on social networks with hints of their upcoming collection with the hashtag #DGFabulousFantasy. Both Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana worked around nostalgic images of childhood including fairy tales and objects and venues from The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Snow White. Not only wear the outfits inspired by fantasy, but also the decorations such as a real tree with red apples and a pumpkin that later on turned into a carriage in the fairy tale, as well as a big wall clock to stroke twelve. And everyone’s dream came true with Cinderella’s celestial dress which was this stunning sky blue lurex dress with shimmer and puffed sleeves and a tonal bow-shaped choker. The Sleeping Beauty’s dress was as beautiful as Cinderella’s, being a charming midi dress wrapped with red apple prints, and another red outfit with embroidered dwarfs combined with flower beds. Last but not least, Snow White’s stepmother’s black seams combining a mirror and a clock but rolled into one.
