As Louise Vuitton’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquiere loves experimenting, and this season's collection was showcased on blue-toned space set at the Bois de Boulogne Park in Paris, bringing out autumnal and winter looks. And for the ready-to-wear line, Nicolas focused on athlete-inspired outfits combined with graphic patterns and wonderful tailoring, somewhat giving the models bodies a geometric shape. Key elements were noticeable hems and prints resembling corsets and bras, working around the reversible look. Also, there was quite a bit of color blocking happening in red, green, and blue hues. And those athlete-inspired pieces were converted into t-shirts with geometrical patterns, t-shirt dresses, yoga pants in leather and jackets and mid-calf vests combined together. Basically, Nicolas preferred emphasizing on the hourglass figures, decorated with dark colored patches of fabrics on the waist line. When the show was coming to an end, peplum hemlines stood out as well as asymmetric necklines and double-breasted zip-front jackets. Nicolas also chose to create beautiful accessories such as exaggerated hats, fur, and sparkly ornaments with handbags and sporty shoes.
