Ralph Lauren's Allure This Fall

46 gorgeous looks formed Ralph Lauren’s Fall/Winter 2016 ready-to-wear line, each loved as much as the others. Ralph opted to go for earth-based shades, specially camel, taupe and brownish hues, although there were also some black and white along with some denims. Also, tube tops and Victorian-inspiration came into notice, ending the show with lovely red-carpet gowns in jewel colors such as ruby, amethyst and sapphire. What was very much appreciated by the audience was that even though there were 46 looks, 4 different themes still prevailed throughout Ralph’s show. These four looks were: the fall look, the androgynous effect, the pretty and sassy look, and beautiful red carpet looks. Firstly, the fall look consisted of loads of layering with high waisted silhouettes and straight-cut pants, chic half boots, and brown tights. Also, various shirts and blazers, round and plunging necks in soft cashmere and silks were present. What led to the androgynous look were the shirts and ties that looked interesting in the midst of those fall trends. There were plaids and suedes in both fitted and loose combinations with culottes and teamed with boots. Including, western tuxedos with a new style in black velvet, leather, fringe, floppy hats, crisp white shirts and pretty black bowties were combined to create this masculine-feminine look. As we all know, black velvet looks pretty and sassy too, with additions of lace, short skirts, tights and ankle boots. If you include the Victorian neckline with ruffles in a cute black dress, you are complimenting this season. More trends that created this pretty and sassy look were shiny leather, fascinating cuffs and sleeves, and other interesting accessories with the fringe and bow tie look. And last but not least, the sultry and classy red-carpet gowns in jewel tones looked amazing on the runway. There were some slits as well as sexy open backs and plunging necklines and bare shoulders. So if you are considering a Ralph Lauren outfit you have a wide variety of looks and styles to choose from, including mixing and matching what you believe suits you the best.
