Maison Margiela's Classy AND Sporty Appeal

Two years ago, John Galliano joint Maison Margiela as the creative director of this company, due to this comeback the previous year after the ruckus he got into due to his racist remarks. The whole world loves Galliano’s eccentric side as you never know what to expect and how to expect it. The fall line is considered pure as it works around translucent fabrics and has a soft appeal with a bit of tomboyish styles. Even though Galliano’s scandalous techniques are always something to look forward to, Bill Gaytten’ unique cuts inspired by his architectural designs are always admired. This year we have seen extensive mix-and-match trends, and this time too it seems to be working out with Gaytten’s conglomeration of evening wear with sportswear. English nobleman three-piece suits or two-piece outfits are seen on the runway, with golden picket watches either on the chest or around the waist as a belt and blended with sneakers. The audience also got to see a perfect balance in the show with transparent pieces and matching footwear. What stunned people was the red-carpet strapless gown with a rocky surface paired with sneakers right in the middle of the show. As such the Galliano fall 2016 line had mostly monochromatic shades although some grey, olive green, navy blue, blush pink, and Byzantium purple were also present. Knits were also there in this collection in white and blue hues with elongated sleeves, not only covering the hands completely, but also swinging back and forth. When it came to sheer cuts, even a black sheer skirt was spotted with a navy blue blazer. So if you like experimenting with new looks, try out these transparent outfits with sporty sneakers!
