Not everyone knows that Loewe is a high-end fashion luxury brand owned by Luis Vuitton, and now people love Jonathan Anderson’s unique styles and choices when it comes to technique and materials. This Spanish fashion house’s previous designer, Stuart Vever got us used to his clear-cut tailoring and classic silhouettes, and this season we are trying to form a liking to Anderson’s outfits with textured effect of holes. As we witnessed, Anderson has started as a menswear designer, giving asymmetric drapes and pleats as well as layering in his collection, along with exaggerated jewelry. But what people chose to focus more on was the black and ocher leather present in this fall line that complimented the brand. Keeping leather belts, bags, and trench coats aside, we also got to see sexy leather bustier dresses with irregular hemlines worn over graphic tops. Golden ones looked rather classy while their black and caramel ones seemed rigidly sensual. In fact, caramel shaded leather looked stunning on a black dress inspired by geometric shapes. Also, Loewe’s collection included midi dresses or skirts flaring in an odd manner and otherwise pencil shapes being the dominating trend in this collection, with a pair of white pants appearing throughout the show. And if you think that there’s too much going on, let me tell you that there were also knitted outfits such as white and blue knitted skirts and tops with tassels at the hemline or at times torn such as in the white knitted skirts.
