Animal Skin Belts

Animal skins were very much visible on the Spring-Summer 2016 runway, from different styles to colors and texturized looks. This fall-winter too we get to see loads of it in authentic as well as faux, monochromatic and kaleidoscopic patterns. Flashes of these are all over this season’s belts and compliment the cold winter just around the corner. Many versions of colourful reptile skins were seen at Burberry’s show cinched around the waist of dresses or even puffer jackets and pretty tiled ones in Roberto Cavalli’s collection with matching denim pants. What you wouldn’t want to miss out on is also Jeremy Scott and Antonio Marras’ fall line with their statement leopard skin belts or Bluemarine’s contrasts between fur and reptile skins. One important tip here is to remember to wear these animal skin belts on plain and not printed fabrics so that they can be highlighted in a natural way.
