As you might know, this fall shows a lot of flashes from the 1970’s, with high-waisted pants and long ensembles. Also, vibrant and funky colors are seen on fur coats and dresses of all kinds. Back then, pants symbolized the power of a working woman, and this fall there are loads of pants with inspiration from the 70’s. During those years, there was a lot of development and evolving freedom of communication, thus giving more power to women. During the previous year, JW Anderson focused on the 70’s and 80’s fashion, making power
shoulders, the lurex fabric, and boots very prominent in the entire collection. While Saint Laurent presented the Cyndi Lauper, “Girls Wanna Have Fun” look with tulle prom dresses and asymmetric necklines. And Miu Miu’s frilled sailor bibs and large buttons added further to the entire look.
