Uniform dressing has become a craze this fall, as it looks fun and cute. This trend is mostly seen on T-shirts, jeans and white sneakers. Otherwise, the military uniform is also receiving a lot of attention. It has been a strong influence since the 1960’s, when John Lennon wore a M-65 and Yves Saint Laurent introduced his iconic Saharienne jacket. But this season’s jackets, particularly at Gucci, Burberry, and Givenchy’s shows are a bit different as they seem to have an influence from the 18th-century British and French trends. They are crisp, strong-shouldered, decorated with epaulets, brass buttons, and a modern touch with crystal and bow add-ons. Otherwise, these jackets not only looked stylish but also very wearable such as Dolce & Gabbana’s jackets which were embellished with jewels and paired with silk track pants.
