How Low Can You Go With Your Neckline

Plunging necklines have been striking since the spring and summer, but this fall they are not only modified but also have an interesting edge. They are seen everywhere, from blouses to dresses and even blazers with nothing underneath. The audience believes that this trend has appeared in nearly every show from Altuzarra to Rebecca Minkoff, Emilio Pucci and Temperley London, and Genny and Missoni. What is intriguing is when you see plunging necklines with shirts or high-neck tops beneath with long sleeves and body enhancing fabrics, such as at Prabal Gurung’s show, where dresses where work over Chinese collar shirts. A designer who opted for plunging necklines with nothing beneath was Roberto Cavalli, as his blouses were heavily embroidered, which added to extra style. Max Mara’s pinstripe suits with plunging necklines looks sexy and Calvin Klein took the neckline all the way down to the abdomen. We also got to see some outfits assembled together with metal rings and detailing such as the stunning shimmer black dress at Dion Lee’s show.
