Have A Treat With Metallics

Spring and Summer 2016 has thrown a lot of light on us with its metallic textures, and this fall too has metallic looks in abundance. Metallic looks appeared on skirts, dresses, tops, pants, and jumpsuits in silver, gold, and copper. Alexander McQueen’s translucent gowns took everyone’s breathe away and Peter Pilotto’s printed knee-length coats were also very much appreciated. One of our favorites, Dolce & Gabbana’s cuts in golden coats left us waiting for more. Also, Fendi’s silver skirts, and Adam Selman and Marco de Vincenzo’s metallic fall lines were very pleasing to the eye. Daytime shimmer from metallic shine is shown so beautifully on the runway, and enhanced with ensembles by designers such as Felder with the disco trousers. Otherwise, House of Holland’s metallic sheen were admired with rods of cobalt in the collection.
