Not every fashion designer can be an artist, but this coming fall, many designers have proved us wrong with their exceptionally fabulous portrait and scenery-inspired collections. Prada is one of them whose skirts and outerwear pieces were adorned with Christophe Chemin’s still-life paintings, illustrations of deserts and a sensual kiss under the night sky. Including, Topshop Unique created a sophisticated look with its velvet and sequins dresses with stunning nature sceneries from A Winter’s Tale. At Paris Fashion Week, surrealistic portraits by Matthieu Bourel caught everyone’s attention, and House of Holland’s Fall Show depicted the Twenties and Seventies with portraits of Cher, Liza Minnelli, and Debbie Harry. So, try out this nature-inspired trend in tops, sweaters, skirts and even jackets, keeping the other piece of outfit in a solid and simple color that won’t take away from the scenery’s beauty.
