The Floral Paradise

There are very few of us who runs away from floral prints as they are simple and yet so beautiful. Year past year, florals are brought to our notice in multiple designers’ collections throughout the seasons. This coming fall is no different as floral prints are merged with botanical motifs and presented in so many types of prints. Dolce & Gabbana’s fairy tale theme was very much appreciated with its realistic floral fields. While Blumarine and MSGM’s vibrant flowers grabbed people’s attention, Etro’s and Alberts Ferretti’s muted and earthy-toned floral canvases were also admired. Other designers who worked around floral prints were Monique Lhuillier and Alexander McQueen’s illusion dresses, and Miu Miu chose to tone it down and keep the flowers to a minimum over extremely dense schemes. Also, Anna Sui’s floral tights and Balenciaga’s floral knee-high boots couldn’t go unnoticed, inspiring us to wear something in florals this fall.
