Don’t you wish at times that clothing too would be gamine style, where you can wear whatever you want without it being male or female? This time of the year a sans gender trend is out in the open and is being very well admired by many. Designers that brought this trend to our notice were Lanvin with its own design and aesthetics, and Alber Elbaz with boxy cuts and formals in black and white. A very interesting thing Celine did was carry off this unisex outfits trend with mismatched earrings and bright red lipstick, with shoes and crop tops in order to evoke the feminine side of the collection. Otherwise, Saint Laurent chose to opt for boots, leather pants and a casual t-shirt with fabulous pinstriped blazers, in order to balance out both of the genders. At times it gets difficult to differentiate between masculine and feminine ensembles, specially with over-sized jackets and loose fitted trousers, so plunging necklines are a key factor while using this trend.
