The X-Shaped Halter Neckline

Another version of the off-shoulder look, is the X-shaped halter neckline. This term has been used quite frequently by Elle Magazine as this intersecting high neckline that creates an x-shape wrapping around the neck and keeping the shoulders bare. This trend was seen at shows by Proenza Schouler, Givenchy, Jason Wu, ADEAM, and Derek Lam. From a stylist’s point of view, I really like this trend as it is comfortable and sexy, highlighting the collarbones and shoulders. Also, you can choose when to wear it according to the occasion as on a short dress it can be worn for an evening out and when worn on a gown, you can wear it to a cocktail party. This is a perfect choice for minimizing your accessories as you don’t need to even wear a necklace when you wear either a top or dress or gown with this stunning x-shaped halter neck.
