Rusted Copper

Throughout the years, rusted copper has been seen more on men’s wear, but this summer it has also appeared in dresses and rompers at the Chalayan show. Rusted copper evokes an earthy and warm appearance, very intricately shown as a roasted copper in Prada’s collection, giving it more of a ‘70s look. A few other designers that also incorporated this hue in their summer lines were Giambattista Valli and Sonia Ryliel. Some designers are already introducing a glimpse of their autumn-winter lines with tones of orange and copper, calling it the “new neutral,” particularly for woken outerwear and cozy outfits. If you want to wear this stunning rusted copper, you can first try on an evening top or a pair of sequins hot shorts to see how you look with it, and once you feel comfortable, you can slip on a gown or shimmer jumpsuit. But don’t jazz it up too much, specially with gold accessories as this rusted copper is already shiny and glamorous.
