Amethyst Purple

As you might have noticed, this summer is accompanied by any gem stone colors such as emerald green, the moonstone, the royal red, sapphire, and now the amethyst purple. This only proves that one can implement any idea they get inspired by, all depending on the execution of it. Also, as seen on the runway, these gem tones look best in shimmery metallic and silky fabrics such as satin because their drapes and creases remind you of how beautiful gem stone colors are. Amethyst purple looked lovely in Aganovich’s show, and was seen in flashes in Alberta Ferretti and Olympia Le Tan’s work. Otherwise, Vetements’ dresses looked even more stunning in this color, and Lanvin’s high neck mini dresses gave a very chic and elegant feel to the entire collection. Carven’s skirts and dresses with plunging necklines were considered extremely sophisticated in amethyst purple. When it comes to using this color to style your appearance, just remember that amethyst is a strong and bold color, having a personality of its own. It carries elegance, class, and sophistication. How you wear it depends on your choice but keep it simple and don’t mix it with any other color.
