As mentioned earlier, SS 2016 has gifted us with a lot of graduations and variations in pale and bright colors, in this case serenity is a gradual change from periwinkle lilac. Serenity is what is exactly what it sounds like, calm and light. Designers like Emilio Sosa, Rachel Pally, and Harbison used this tranquil color to create their collections. Other designers whose ensembles stood out were Celine, Jaider Ackermann, Junya Watanabe, Christian Dior, and Carven. Otherwisem Blumarine’s collection evoked a much laid back, casual yet pleasant look. And Amanda Wakeley’s strong and chic dresses were the inspiration for many. This color is so pleasing to the eye that you must wear it this summer as a blouse or draped dress or even a casual t-shirt with denims. And as it is a soft and sober color anybody of any age or size can wear it without worrying if it will suit them.
