Olive

Olive is not a colour fancied by many, but this season it is looking quite stunning on the runway. Surprisingly, olive green is one of the biggest trending colours in Summer 2016, seen in all kinds of silhouettes and styles. Some believe it to have a bit of autumn flair in its summery looks. Alexander Wang received a lot of appreciation for her line as she used olive green throughout her collection. Other designers that made full use of this colour were Celine and Versace. As a matter of fact, Olympia Le Tan's whole sets and mini skirts looked interestingly different on the ramp. Nina Ricci added color feathers and trouders with unique trends in olive green. A whole line of olive appears at Mugler, ranging from coat-inspired dresses to simple minis, wraparounds to khaki style pants, and shinier fabrics to matte pieces. The only suggestion here is to try out olive green only if you are a risk-taker when it comes to fashion as it's a very bold and different colour.
