Hazy Taupe

Another desert bloom color this summer is hazy taupe, a perfect balance between the earthy and calm hues. Hazy taupe isn't as prominent on the runway as other colors such as indigo and jewel green, but it has been given significant attention to as it neutralizes between bright and pastel shades. This colour was prominent in Alberta Ferretti’s sandstorm collection as well as in Alexander McQueen's romantic outfits with Indian designing inspiration. Saint Laurent chose to variate between different shades of hazy taupe in translucent or opaque designs. Including, there were flashes of it at the Balmain, Esteban Cortazar, and Chloe Shows. Trussardi proved his fondness towards this colour by including it in each and every piece of his line. Other designers who focused on hazy taupe to bring about calmness into their collection were Etro, David Koma, and Jil Sander. When it comes to wearing this shade you can wear it irrelevant of your skin tone as it is versatile in the way that it blends well with whichever skin tone you have.
