Bomber Jackets Are Here To Stay

Bomber jackets have always looked very trendy and chic, and this time they are boasted on the runway in rare colors and modified silhouettes. These over sized or embroiderer jackets can be worn with denims, laced-up booties and a bold clutch. Otherwise, it looks stunning even over a sexy short dress with wedged sneakers to give it a sporty look. It is a misconception that bombers have to be boyish or sporty as floral and metallic styles are making headlines. Many designers experimented with different styles and colors of bombers, such as Chloe, Tods and Loewe in their Spring Summer 2016 collections. Also, at Milan Fashion Week, Donatella Versace proved how sporty yet glamorous bombers can look. Emilio Pucci’s show had these fabulous seaside-inspired bomber jackets along with glittering skirts. Roberto Cavalli’s SS16 line focused on the 80s silhouettes and color palettes, making boxy jackets, in particular bomber jackets the spotlight of the entire show.
