The Sporty Bohemian

The beauty of boho style is that it suits any age as you spot kids wearing it on the street and also adults as they are comfortable, casual and chic. It can get a bit challenging when you have to blend the romantic bohemian look with the sporty look, so these are some key elements that designers have used to get the best of both worlds: mix sporty blousons, sweatshirts and hoodies with A-line floral printed long skirts. You can also try wearing a boho-inspired dress with athletic detailing, motifs and cuts. Chloe’s director, Clare Waight Keller created quite a different look by mixing a floor-length skirt in small printed flowers with a two-toned tracksuit top. Or wide-legged pants with sleeveless t-shirts and jogging pants with zip neck tops. Otherwise, Paco Rabanne’s collection was full of sportswear combined with lingerie as seen in the slip dresses with suspenders attached, giving it a 1950’s swimming costume look. Another visible trend at the Paco Rabanne show was wide trousers with zipped ockets and bralettes even shown under a plunging neckline black dress. The tracksuit was first introduced by Adidas as athletic wear in 1964 and has gained a new modified look this season with all the different combinations designers are creating.
