Print It The Hawaiian Way

Prints have taken over this season in every way possible. You see them as minimalistic prints or abstract prints of all sorts in animal prints, floral prints, marble prints and hidden Hawaiian prints. When you see Hawaiian prints you just think of the beautiful summer and a relaxing vacation. They are mostly seen on men’s shirts and shorts and women’s sun dresses and sarongs with bikinis. But this time, we got to see them on the catwalk in a rather elegant manner. Rochas displayed shiny voluminous skirt suits with long jackets, bolder and more artistic than the Chalayan prints, where the look was practically hidden by those white floor-length dresses. Otherwise, these hidden Hawaiian prints were also seen on Giambattista Valli’s and Paul & Joe’s mini hemmed attire. Guy Laroche’s collection stood out with the stunning olive green jackets worn on this print and teamed up with calf-length tights and strappy sandals.
