This time of the year many new and modified trends have been accepted, however peculiar they might have looked as in that peculiarity there is something interesting. Nautical prints are another interesting trend this spring keeping in mind that designers have added a contemporary touch to it. Some of these include classic stripe prints in different dashes of color and direction, inspired sportswear and uneven hems and wraparound layers, giving it an urban look. At the Milan Fashion Week, Max Mara’s collection was inspired by sailor coats and shirts with illustrations of lighthouses and boats. Also, Emilio Pucci’s By The Sea assemblage used 3D textiles highlighting netting and fish. Otherwise, DSquared2’s models wore tropical and scuba styles with separates in neoprene to enhance the water theme further.
