Layer It Up With Long Sleeves

When it comes to spring and summer we store away all of our long sleeved tops and shirts but this spring designers have something else in mind. They have used sheer undershirts with long sleeves to look different and yet keep the body cool. Meshes and laces are used as the base fabric and then worked around with various cuts and structures. While Zimmermann creates a very lady-like appearance in his assortment, with his lacy underclothes, bra tops come over sheer long sleeved pieces at Dries Van Noten. What Emilio Pucci did was use more lose fitted transparent shirts underneath with bird patterns and stunning pleated slips over on top.
